The people of Saudi Arabia are called Saudis. The current estimated population is 26,551,000. The official language is Arabic. Most Saudis live in cities. In fact, 81% of the population is urban and 19% rural. Of the rural population some are farmers while others are Bedouins. Bedouin means desert dweller in Arabic. Many people in Saudi Arabia are Muslim and some women still wear veils to cover their faces. People in Saudi Arabia live to be about 70 years old. Eight in 100 people own a car.

There money is the riyal. The whole country makes laws Saudi Arabia also takes many forms and the citizens will live together. Saudi Arabia is becoming more modern. People are expected to obey laws and pay taxes. They make money by selling oil.
